Auriculotherapy
Stimulation of biologically active points is the foundation of Eastern medicine.
It turns out that it is not always necessary to engage the whole body — sometimes a small part of it is enough.
Our auricles have approximately 200 active points, and all of them are connected to internal organs.
Auriculotherapy is one of the reflexotherapy methods that involves stimulation of biologically active points located on the auricle. It is believed that the human ear resembles a fetus lying upside down in the womb — not only in appearance, but also in structure: the ear mirrors the human body. Therefore, all points found on the body are also present on our ear.
The method can act as an independent treatment or be combined with complex therapy: acupressure, cosmetology, and medication. The main advantages are high effectiveness and no side effects. The method dates back to ancient times, when it was used as a pain reliever for dental, joint and headache pain.
For the procedure, microneedles (buttons) are used, which are installed for 1 day or three weeks depending on the patient's problem.
